With experience spanning law firms, multinational corporations, and boutique IP practices since 2020, she has developed a well-rounded, hands-on understanding of the IP landscape — particularly in trademark prosecution, global brand strategy, and protection. Known for her thoughtful, responsive approach and results-driven mindset, she works closely with clients to navigate complex IP challenges with confidence and clarity.
YingZhen holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property & the Digital Economy from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Oxford Brookes University. As part of her postgraduate studies, she completed CopyrightX — a Harvard Law School-affiliated programme focused on U.S. copyright law. Her academic training included in-depth studies on international IP systems, digital copyright, and trademark law.
A skilled communicator fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and conversational in Korean, YingZhen thrives on engaging with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her cultural agility and language proficiency enable her to work effectively across borders and build meaningful connections with international clients. Outside of work, YingZhen enjoys reading, baking, playing the clarinet, volunteering at church, and has an unapologetic love for coffee — her daily fuel for thinking clearly and working smart.
